Collision Course

 

With Collision Course you can learn to combine percussion, music, technology, dance and song.

  • Learn and play drum rhythms that work with both a DJ mix and live instruments
  • Learn and explore dance moves
  • Learn new techniques of writing lyrics and singing
  • Learn how to bring you own musical instrument into the mix
  • Learn and use state of the art music technology to add in samples and effects
  • Explore world rhythms with samba, junk percussion and middle eastern drums
  • Add in visual effects with large screen artwork projections

    Drums can be provided or you can bring your own instrument if you have one. Add your creative ideas and visuals into the mix!

    Suitable for age 8 upwards, the workshops are designed to be accessible to those without any prior skills and can channel existing skills in a new direction.

    A performance or recording can be included at the end of the project bringing together all of the elements developed.
